(PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS IN EMERALD & DISTRICT) FESTIVAL
GOES BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL ROOTS WITH PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS
THE FESTIVAL KICKS OFF WITH THE EMERALD FUNFEST ON SUNDAY 6TH APRIL
Funfest is a street festival with music, dance, circus, free children’s events, rides, exhibitions, roving performers, community stalls, interactive activities, food trucks, and a pop-up bar in the old railway carriage at the Gem Community Arts Centre (GEMCO).
FunFest attendees can expect a colourful, joyful community festival with plenty of activities to entertain the young and the not so young, with surprises galore.
The festivities will begin at 10am and run until 3pm at GEMCO, 19 Kilvington Drive, Emerald. An exciting feature of the festival will be the Pop-Up Bar and festival hub at GEMCO which will open throughout the week, where patrons can pop in for a drink and some live music.
FOLLOWING FUNFEST THE FESTIVAL WILL CONTINUE TO RUN EACH DAY & EVENING BETWEEN MONDAY 7TH & SATURDAY 12TH APRIL
