AGE IN A PLACE AT SUMMERSET

SUMMERSET – CARE YOU CAN TRUST
Since 1997, Summerset, one of New Zealand’s most recognised retirement and aged care operators, has being putting residents at the heart of everything we do. With 37 villages and more than 8,000 residents across New Zealand, we are proud to be opening our first Australian village which will have aged care onsite, in Cranbourne North. Summerset may be the “new kids on the block” in Victoria, but we’re old hands at creating high quality retirement and aged care villages. Our years of experience have allowed us to build on what we know, while diversifying our offering to align with the Australian market.

WHAT SETS SUMMERSET APART
Our villages are thoughtfully designed to flow with the journey of aging, from independent living in villas and cottages, supported living in serviced apartments and the bonus of aging in place, be it in a supported living environment or in our onsite care or memory care centre. The journey into a retirement village should be a transition you only make once, having facilities that are designed to support and allow aging in place takes the worry out of ‘where to next’ for yourself, or loved ones. Our resident first focus has resulted in three gold awards in New Zealand. We have recently been voted winner of the Reader’s Digest Quality Service Award, Aged Advisor People’s Choice and Nationwide Group awards. The most pleasing part of the awards is the fact that they’re voted on by residents and their families.

SUMMERSET CRANBOURNE NORTH
Covering nearly six hectares at 98 Mannavue Boulevard, Summerset Cranbourne North is located just minutes away from the local golf club and the gorgeous Cranbourne Botanical Gardens. With easy access to nearby shopping centres, public reserves and the freeway allowing for easy commuting to and from surrounding suburbs.

Head of Sales – Australia, Riet Bersma-Rees is excited to be launching Summerset’s first Australian village, based on the successful continuum of care model that has made it New Zealand’s second largest retirement sector developer and operator.

“I can’t wait to welcome new residents to this amazing space we are creating. This is living life to the fullest and enjoying every minute. With continuum of care onsite when the village centre opens, people have options should their needs change. While admission is subject to availability and entry criteria, existing village residents have priority. They can remain in their community, amongst their friends while getting the support tailored to their needs.” said Riet.
